Caregiver Capacity Check-in App
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 20, 2026
Last Updated: March 20, 2026
We're committed to protecting your privacy as a caregiver. This policy explains how we handle your check-in data.
What We Collect
- Slider values (energy levels, On-Alert Level)
- Timestamps of check-ins
- Micro-pause selections (if tracked)
- No names, emails, or identifiers unless you voluntarily provide them.
Who Can Access Your Data
- App Administrator (Jenn Fredericks): I can view individual check-ins to:
- Monitor app performance and bugs
- Respond to support requests
- Improve features based on usage patterns
- No other moderators or staff have access.
How We Use It
- Deliver your personalized capacity maps and micro-pauses
- Fix issues and add features you request
- Analyze aggregated, fully anonymized trends (e.g., "Emotional energy averages 4.2/10 midweek") for app research or presentations
- Never sell, rent, or share raw individual data
Third Parties
- No sharing with external companies or researchers
- Hosting provider (e.g., Base44) follows standard security—no data sales
- If laws require disclosure, we'll notify you first
Your Rights
- Email me anytime to see, edit, or delete your data
- Stop using the app = data stops collecting
- No long-term storage beyond app improvement needs
Security
Here is how we keep your data safe:
- Scrambling: High-level encryption scrambles your data so outsiders can't read it.
- Secure Transport: TLS protects data moving between your device and our servers.
- Strict Access: Row-Level Security ensures users only see their allowed data.
- Safe Keeping: Passwords and API keys are encrypted, never stored in plain text.
- No system is 100% breach-proof. We follow best practices to minimize risks.
Data stored on secure U.S. servers (Base44).
